About CTSSA

The purpose of the Connecticut Self Storage Association (CTSSA) is to provide a powerful network of information and experience to those who are part of or wish to enter the self storage industry. Members benefit from the advice and experience of industry insiders and self storage operators throughout Connecticut.

The ultimate goals of CTSSA are to link the entire industry in Connecticut, to act as the legislative “watchdog” and to promote the usage of self storage facilities. The association also provides each member facility a support system in matters concerning building codes, lien laws, auctions, property tax strategies, manager education and industry visibility, acceptability and promotion.

CTSSA provides programs and services to its members including educational and networking meetings, sample occupancy agreement, copy of the Connecticut Self Storage Lien Law, sales tax information, auction procedures, other recommended procedures, and facility listing with link to member facility.
